Martin E. Gartland, 88; beloved husband of 65 years to Kathryn nee Munno; loving father of Linda (Chip) Manion; loving grandfather of Carl (Sandy) Allen; adored great-grandfather of Ashley and Austin Allen; fond uncle and great uncle to many. Martin was born and raised in the Grand Crossing Neighborhood and was the long-time owner of “Happy Family Gift Shop” in Lisle, IL . He will be missed by many. Visitation, Monday, 3-8 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue (On Rt. 53, ½ mile south of Ogden Ave./Rt. 34) Lisle, IL where funeral service will take place, Tuesday at 11 am.
