Maryann Evelyn Quirk

Maryann Evelyn Quirk, age 88, of Elgin, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 25, 1934 to Edward and Evelyn (Cassler) Garlepp. She will be remembered as being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and an animal lover. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Maryann was survived by her children, William (Cynthia), and Cynthia (Jeffrey) Bert; grandchildren, Kevin (Becky), Brian (Stephanie), Adam, Kyle, William (Ashlee), and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Liam, Nolan, Beatrix, Ellie, and baby William arriving in June; siblings, Alice (Tom) Lyons, Edward (Mary) Garlepp, and Linda; and brother-in-law, John Quirk. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, William; her parents; siblings, Gloria, and Diana; and brothers-in-law, Christopher, James, and Donald.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle, from 4-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at the funeral home at 11am. Entombment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1S510 Winfield Road, Wheaton, at 12:30pm.
