I worked with Pablo for 7 years at JCHS. He was one of the most beautiful individuals I have ever met. He and I loved much of the same music and so we would share socially conscious music with the students that we worked with. He was hard working but at the same time a fun loving spirit. I learned a great deal from Pablo and saw how much he loved his students. Although his life was taken from all of those around him, he was able to make an impact in many peoples lives. He will always be loved and remembered. Te quiero mucho hermano Pablo!

I enjoyed meeting and meditating with Pablo at the Thursday night Tibetan sessions run by Nick P. Tomorrow is never a given, and Pablo's was taken.

Pablo was one of the first math teachers I met when I was hired at JTHS. His warm welcome and open door policy greatly helped me in my first semester at JTHS.

Pablo is my uncle. I liked him. He tried to teach me a little bit of Math and Spanish. He was nice and always smiley.

I remember with fond memories working with Pablo at Joliet Central. We had numerous conversations regarding the education of the students there. We shared many of the same philosophies, insights and concerns on how we were going to approach the education of our students. We also always took some time to assess the Notre Dame football program and how the upcoming year would unfold. A true friend.

I'm Pablo's sister in law. He seamlessly fit right into our family. I loved talking with him about movies and tv shows - he had good taste. I'm forever grateful for the care and love he gave to my sister. I will miss and think of him always.

I have the opportunity to work with Pablo shortly. He was a dedicated educator who love children and mathematics. I am deeply saddened by the loss. I hope he is resting in peace. May his memory be a blessing to all of this family.
