Patricia Lynn Vadeboncoeur

Patricia Lynn Vadeboncoeur (nee Heffernan), age 72, late of Lisle, Illinois, passed away suddenly on April 12th, 2023. Pat had a long secretarial career, followed by her heartfelt work in the field of home health caregiving during her years of semi-retirement. Pat loved baking and cooking, and her recipe collection is worthy of publication. She had a passion for gardening, caring for her indoor plants, and had a keen eye for floral arranging.

Pat was the beloved wife of John. Dear daughter of the late Bernard and Charlotte (Miller) Heffernan. Devoted and dedicated dog mom of Cody and Bandit. Loving sister of Marilyn (William) Brogan, Bernard (Barbara) Heffernan, and sister-in-law of Jim Vadeboncoeur, Mike Vadeboncoeur, Mary Williams, Patricia Ashfield, and Roger Vadeboncoeur (deceased). Cherished aunt of Colleen Brogan Donovan, Bill (Jennifer) Brogan, Kelly (Julie) Brogan, Sara Ball-Vadeboncoeur, Clarissa Olsen, John Ball-Vadeboncoeur, David Vadeboncoeur, Kate Williams, Mary Ann Scherer, Kari Young, and Philip Vadeboncoeur. Fun and feisty great aunt to Erin, Jack, and Clare Donovan; Natalie, Raegan, and Evelyn Brogan; and Delaney, Emery, Ray, Gianna, Aiden, Greyson, Aira and Emilia. Special Godmother to Bill, Samantha, Madalynne, and Nicole.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois 60532, with a funeral service, Wednesday, April 19th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. There is a graveside burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 6001 West 111th Street, Alsip, Illinois 60803.
