Phil was a real outdoorsmen who loved camping and anything to do outdoors. He enjoyed traveling all over the country on road trips, and he made it a goal to try and visit all of the national parks. He was very fun-loving, and was always ready with a joke. He loved music, and was a college basketball aficionado, always rooting for the Loyola Ramblers.
Phil will be remembered for his bad jokes, love of Cognac, and his dedication to his family and friends. Though he had no children of his own, Phil took care to treat every one of his nieces and nephews as if they were his own.
Phil is survived by his mother, Joan; siblings, Paul, Laura (Robert) Bonner, Bruce (Julie), Maria (Ronald) Sagat, and Jeffrey (Nanette); nieces and nephews, Paul (Miriam), David (Chanel), Alison, and Christopher (Amy) Vinkler, Stephanie (Mike) Kaegebein, Isabelle, Matt, and Jordan Sagat, Eric and Christian Bonner, and Amelia Vinkler; sister-in-law, Marilyn Vinkler; as well as many other beloved friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Vinkler.
