Ronald G. Komoll, 63, was born in Chicago on November 10, 1962 and passed away on November 12, 2025. He worked as a mechanical engineer for several large brands, including Kellogg’s and Eli’s Cheesecake, where he met his wife Martha. Together they recently celebrated 22 years of marriage and have four children: Jennifer, Stephen, Ryan, and Natalie.
Ron was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, known for his legendary Super Bowl parties and love of grilling (even in winter). Along with the Chicago Bears, Ron enjoyed cooking, horror films, rock ’n’ roll, building models, and most of all, time with his family made up of his wife, children, mother Connie, brother Michael, sister-in-law Jenny, nephews John and Will. His family became complete with the inclusion of the entire Dresbach clan, who welcomed him with open arms.
Ron felt a strong connection to the majesty of Yellowstone Park and visited nearly every year. This is where he will be laid to rest.
RIP to a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend.
