Ruth Marie Tompkins, 100, passed away on May 3, 2015; beloved wife of the late Paul Shaffer and the late Roy Tompkins; loving mother of Jeff (Lois) Shaffer and Gary (Mary Lou) Shaffer; cherished grandmother of Rob (Tammy) Shaffer, Laurel Shaffer, Laura, Luco and Lesleigh Columbo; adored great-grandmother of Drew, David, Jayme, Ginny Kay and Colby; dear aunt of Mary Lee Shaffer and Sally Shaffer. Ruth and her children appreciated the special bond they shared with her brother-in- law, the late, James “Uncle Jimmy” Shaffer.
