

Born on June 6, 1950 in East Chicago, Indiana, to Joseph and Joan McKenna, Terrence joined the United States Army and served our country during the Vietnam War. On November 25, 1977, he married the love of his life, Margaret, in a joyous ceremony at the Holy Ghost Church of South Holland, Illinois. Their union was a source of strength and happiness throughout their adventure together.
Their family spent many nights together watching the sunset at their cherished lake house in Beverly Shores, Indiana. His charismatic presence, generosity and sense of humor made him a loyal friend and companion to many.
“Chief” is survived by his wife, Margaret, loving children, Patrick (Megan) McKenna, Colleen (Brian) Ittner, and his grandchildren, Riley, Quinn, Carter, Emerson, Reese and Shae. Dear brother of Patrick, Kathleen, Michael, Timothy, Maureen, Molly, Daniel, and Mary. Loving Brother-in-Law, Uncle and Godfather to the Reilly family. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Eileen.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Terrence to be held on Monday, October 16th, 2023 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Avenue, Lisle, Illinois 60532. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 820 Division Street, Lisle, Illinois 60532. Interment to be held at a later date.
