William C. Zenger

William "Bill" C. Zenger, age 71, passed away peacefully with his loving wife of 31 years, Marla, by his side. Loving dad of Brenda Zenger, Bill Zenger, Brandon (Victoria) Zenger, Christian Zenger, and Tyler Zenger; Loving grandpa of Dakota and Hunter; Brother of Gloria Zenger Steber; Brother-in-law of Lora (Tom), Lisa (Scott), Jeffrey (Jennifer), Patti (Jim), and Mark (Lisa); Son-in-law of Loren and Wilma Helgeson; Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews, loyal friend to many. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Christ and Mae Zenger, and his granddaughter, CoCo Marie. Bill grew up in Lisle, IL and graduated from Lisle High School in 1963. He loved Lisle so much he stayed there to raise Brenda, Bill and Brandon. Bill married the love of his life, Marla, in 1985 and they soon made Naperville their home where they raised Christian & Tyler. The oasis in Bill’s life was his Wisconsin lake house on Lauderdale Lakes, where all he needed was his wife, his kids, a dog, a beer and a fishing pole. There he enjoyed an endless parade of family, friends and projects. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Monday, 2/13, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln, Lisle, IL 60532. Visitation will take place from 3-8 PM, on Sunday, 2/12, also at the Funeral Home.
