Yo S. Little

Yo Little passed away at the young age of 95 years old. She was born in Tokyo, Japan on April 3rd, 1929 and passed away in her home in Bolingbrook, Illinois on May 22, 2024. She lived a long and fulfilling life surrounded by love. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her family. She sacrificed a lot and was deeply admired for her courage and strength. She was preceded in death by her husband Dan T. Little Jr. She is survived by 2 brothers and sister; Her daughter, Salisa Nelson (Austin Nelson Sr), and stepchildren, Rochelle Fields, Dan T. Little III, Regina Dunlap, Arlin Powell and preceded in death Jacinda Powell. Honorary daughter, Kim Patton (Sherwinn Patton); Grandchildren, Anisha Young, Marissa Marshall, Kiara Marshall, Austin Nelson Jr, Alijah Nelson, and her great grand babies De’Asjah, Kharma, Billy’e, Zion, and Everleigh. Her nieces, Denise M Little, Pam Stokes, Eva Bradley and nephews; Robert Majors, Sylvester Majors, Herman Bradley III. A special thanks to Lightways Hospice Care and nurses, Lauren and Tianna.
