Anita Regina Miller, 92, of Little Rock passed away March 12, 2025. She was born November 4, 1932, in Center Ridge, Arkansas to the late Joseph and Mary (Paladino) Lannie. In addition to her parents, Anita was welcomed into Heaven by her husband, Ernest Miller; siblings, Mildred McManus and Matthew “Sonny” Lannie; her daughter-in-law, Karen Miller; and her son-in-law, Robert Balsam.
A devout Catholic, Anita was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church for many years. Anita was the epitome of an Italian woman. Known for her incredible cooking skills, her Hungarian goulash became a family favorite. Her spiked eggnog during Christmas time was especially popular among family and friends.
As a stay-at-home mother, Anita created countless cherished memories for her six children, especially during the holidays. Her green thumb was evident in the garden, always full of lilies and other beautiful flowers. She loved to shop, a love she passed on to her daughters. In her later years, she found great joy in being a grandmother and treasured every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Those left to cherish the memories of Anita include six children, Regina Balsam, Barbara Illich (Vernon), Yvonne Fippen (William), Ernest Miller (Michele), Mariam Hopkins (George) and Paul Miller; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren and extended family and friends that will miss her dearly.
The family would like to thank the medical teams at Baptist Health and Hospice Home Care for their loving care of Anita.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Little Rock. Visitation will be the evening prior, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2025, at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home with a Rosary service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
