I remember, waiting in my Mother's office, at the then LWSB, in the TDL/Home Management classroom, and a very, very happy, somewhat younger, Adren Duncan prancing through, and saying something about Barbara. I was pretty young, but it was obvious that he was enjoying himself. That relationship sure survived the waves of time, and provided thousands of us with 2 role models, in which to build our personal priorities. God bless both of you, and thank you Barbara, for being the warrior for those with Disabilities you were, and the strong representation of what we can become.

Adren,
I am so sorry for your loss. I remember meeting you and Barbara back in the 1990's when I began working for Lion's World Services for the Blind. Ms. Barbara was working for the Governor's office, and was always such an advocate for the people of Arkansas who have disabilities. I am feel so blessed to have known her.
