I remember, waiting in my Mother's office, at the then LWSB, in the TDL/Home Management classroom, and a very, very happy, somewhat younger, Adren Duncan prancing through, and saying something about Barbara. I was pretty young, but it was obvious that he was enjoying himself. That relationship sure survived the waves of time, and provided thousands of us with 2 role models, in which to build our personal priorities. God bless both of you, and thank you Barbara, for being the warrior for those with Disabilities you were, and the strong representation of what we can become.

Adren, my friend,
What a mighty living marital testimony you and Barbara are! I use the present tense because Barbara's spirit lives on in our memories and hearts.
Barbara had a love for God, a heart for service and a passion for people. It showed in her work, with her friends, in her humor, in her activities, and in her love for her husband.
Thank God for such a friend as Barbara!
Adren, we wrap you in the love of Christ. May God continue to bless, keep, guide, and protect you.
