Beal was born in the small town of Helena AR, January 3, 1939. As a young child Beal started attending the Arkansas School for the Blind in Little Rock, AR where he discoveed his love for wrestling at age 10. Through ĥis wrestling years he became an 8 time state champion. His love for wrestling led him to further his education and earn a master's degree in education which he used to coach wrestling and teach Orientation and Mobility for 35 years at the Oklahoma School for the Blind.
Beal was a very caring, loving and generous man. He first love was his Lord and Savior and was dedicated to sharing his faith with others. His faithfulness helped start Full Life Family Church where he was a member and deacon for 20 years.
Faith and family were the two dearest priorities to Beal's heart.
Preceding him in death are his brothers and sisters: Bessie, Josephine, Emmal, Homer, John, Mary, Elizabeth, Austin, Nancy, Pearlie, George, Henry, William. Also preceding him in death are his wives: Charlene, Alice and Patricia.
He is survived by his brothers: Wesley and his wife Rita, and Jimmy; and his sister Christine and her husband Eddie; a daughter: Sandra and her husband Charles; stepsons: Nathan and his wife Stacy, James and his wife Robin; and Lauren and his wife, Jimmie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, AR 72204, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. with Brent Gunther officiating.
