Chloe, Glenda, and family,

We were saddened to hear of Bill's death. He was always so nice to us and he and Danny enjoyed talking about old tractors and farming. A great memory is when you came to 'the big house' in Harrison to spend the day and night with us! You were fortunate to have him in your life for so long. Love you, Danny & Donna

I know the church and family will miss Bill. He was a wonderful person and took such care of Chloe. I know this is a hard time for all of them. We have missed him since we no longer go to that church.

I considered Bill and Chloe my personal family. So many special memories to cherish a lifetime. He became my extra dad when my dad passed and he’d tell me often how much he loved all my family. Very special man.

To sweet Chloe, Sissy, Al and Kent. I was deeply saddened to hear about Bill this morning. Your family was and is very important to my family and in particular to my deceased parents, Dorothy and Clyde "Pucket " Smith.

I have fond memories of Bill. As a child I remember Bill sitting at our dining table on Marsh Road talking to dad and with that sweet pipe tobacco filling the air. I remember LONG strings of crappie from Lake Ouachita. I remember those deer hunting trips and the number of shirt tails being cut off! Everyone in complete laughter, friendship and with great loyalty.

I know you are all saddened and experiencing the loss of of this great man and patriarch of the family. Please know that you are all in my prayers.

Much love,

Marsha Hamm
