Bobby L Hampton

Bobby Lynn Hampton MSGT Retired, aged 68, passed away at home on January 5th, 2017. He was born on August 20, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas, one of nine children, of Henry James and Ola Mae Hampton. Mr. Hampton graduated from Sheridan High School in 1967 and joined the United Sates Air Force. He was a Vietnam Veteran and retired in 1987 to his home town with full military honors. He then worked for the State of Arkansas as a Grant Analyst until he retired. He is preceded in death by his sons John C. Hampton and Joseph A. Hampton, sisters Beverly Capoot and Connie Reed, and brother Charles Hampton. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Tina M. Hampton and Cynthia M. Dunbar; sisters Debbie Griffin, Gail Farmer, and Rhonda Barker, brothers Jim Hampton and Don Hampton; nine grandchildren, and anyone else fortunate enough to call him friend. His life will be celebrated on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 W. 12th St. Little Rock, Arkansas 72204, with a visitation at 10:00 a.m., funeral service at 11:00 a.m., and burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander Arkansas.
