My deepest sympathies to the family of Reverend Anderson.  As a former university colleague of Dr. Kevin Anderson, I know that he revered and loved his Dad.  This was readily observed anytime Professor Anderson spoke of his family.   I am honored that I had the opportunity to meet Reverend Anderson some years ago during a visit to the Political Science Department of Eastern Illinois University.

My heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Carolyn Anderson, son and family. I pray each day will bring you comfort and peace.
I cherish fond memories of Rev. Anderson and Mrs. Carolyn Anderson during his pastorate at Allen Temple AMEC., Little Rock, Ark.
Your memories will always remain special in your hearts.

I would like to acknowledge and send my prayers and condolences to First Lady Carolyn Anderson and Dr. Kevin Anderson.. I remember spending time with my uncle  Carroll at the family reunion  2018.. he was a kind man and he will be truly missed.

Carolyn my sincere condolences to you and Kevin.  Reverend Anderson was always a gracious man and very kind. I remember the two of you helping me out and babysitting my son many years ago. May God be with the both of you during this difficult time. 🕊🕊

My  Favorite  Memories are when we come home on  Vacations we get to gather and talk,laugh and just enjoy ours  self may God keep you and rest in peace Reverend Anderson.

To First Lady Carolyn and Dr. Kevin Anderson, our thoughts, love, prayers, and support are with you throughout this difficult time. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and in his presence he is happy and no longer in pain. I’ll miss Mr. Carroll.  He always had a kind word for me every time I saw him.  Prayers, love and hugs to all who will miss him.

We have shared so many memories in this Church and God enabled you to do His work up and down the road.  Thank you for being our friend. 

First Lady Carolyn Anderson  and son Dr. Kevin Anderson, we are sorry for you loss. I will cherish the moments that Rev. pastored at our church. , remembering  his  faithfulness, honesty  and sincere manner. He was truly a chosen one. May you find comfort in knowing the Lord and that others share in your sorrow.

Reverend Anderson and his wife became  dear friends to myself and Dr. Shirley Cason Reed when we traveled to Arkansas during the administration of Bishop Henry Allen Belin. Brother Anderson was a faithful minister of the gospel. We were introduced to them by our brother and sister, Dr. Clarence and Sister Birdie Boyd. Sister Anderson served as a life member of the Connectional Women's Missionary Society while Dr. Shirley Cason Reed served as the International President. Our prayers are with this faithful AME Church family.  

WMS Life Member, Mrs. Carolyn Anderson, and son, Dr. Kevin Anderson, during your time of sorrow in the loss of your beloved husband and father, the Reverend Carroll G. Anderson, who transitioned from this earthly life to his heavenly home, may knowing that others share the loss you bear be a comfort to you now and in the days, ahead.

While you grieve his passing, you may take comfort in the words of the Apostle Paul, Thessalonians 4:13-14: “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
“May the God of all comfort sustain you during the days ahead.” Psalms 119:76”
