Doris Louise Ward, 69, of Little Rock, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015. Born February 11, 1946, she was the daughter of Iley Lee Ward, Sr. and Frances Charlene (Ramsey) Ward. Mrs. Ward worked at Timex and Maxwell’s Coffee House before she became disabled. She loved to dance and hangout with her friends. She also loved to spoil her little granddaughter, Ashleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Thelma Ilynne Phillips, brother, Iley Lee Ward, Jr., the love of her life, Wayne Leslie Tazelaar, and lifetime friend/sister, Sandra Rasico Davis. She is survived by her two sons, Darrell Lee Thompson, 50, of Houston, TX and Richard “Rick” Lankard Barr, 47, of Little Rock; five grandchildren, Casady, Cayla, Nathan and Leah Thompson, and Ashleigh Le’sha Kitchens Barr; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 15, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth on Wednesday, December 16, at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
