Dwayne Allan Cary

Dwayne was born on January 20, 1947 to Elbert and Rachel Cary in Little Rock, AR. After graduating from Little Rock Central High School in 1965. He earned a degree in Marketing at LRU/UALR and graduated with honors from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

While attending LRU he worked nights as a sorter operator in the transit department at First National Bank in Little Rock, thus kicking off a lengthy career in banking.

After a very lengthy courtship with Olivia, they wed in 1988. He fondly referred to her as “my bride and social director”. Throughout the years, his hobbies were photography, leatherworking and stain glass art. His favorite vacation places were Maui, Disney World and Silver Doller City.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Cary, his mother Rachel Cary. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Olivia Cary, sister Teresa Jan Griffith and brother Jeffrey Neil Cary, His sons, John Edward Cary (Tracey) and Jason Anthony Van Pelt (Heather). Nieces and nephews, Melissa Cary, Jacob Cary (Alicia), Natalie Black, Erica Tessitore (Justin) and Mark Edds (Shannon). Grandchildren Mira Cary, Kaitlyn Kronberg, Jordan Sanders, Aiden Cary and Isabella Sanders. Great nieces and nephews, Jackson Edds Mady Cary, Parker Edds, Jasper Cary, Joshua Edds, Elliot Black, Owen Edds and Julia Edds.
