

Elizabeth A. Waddle, 89, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Saturday, November 28, 2020. Born February 11, 1931, she was the daughter of Maurice Long and Adeline Daven Long who preceded her in death along with her husband of 50 years, James; her son, John; and her three brothers, Bill, Tommy, and Charles Long.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Norsby and her husband, Randy, of Jacksonville; a son, James Steven Waddle and his wife, Donna, of Lonoke; sisters, Virginia Campbell and her husband, Russell, of Houston, Arkansas and Mary Chambers of Little Rock; grandsons, Charles Wise and his wife, Mary, of Haymarket, Virginia and Michael Waddle and his wife, Sabrina; granddaughters, Tara Febuary and her husband, Jason of Cabot and Shelly Coates; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, including Becky Kendall and Carlotta Goodwin, whom she loved and cared for as her own.
Elizabeth was a devout Catholic who attended Immaculate Conception Church in Sherwood. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent Infirmary for over 15 years.
In lieu of flowers, please honor her by donating to one of the charities close to her heart: St Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, Muscular Dystrophy Association, or The American Cancer Society.
The world has lost a beautiful person, but Heaven has gained another Angel.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, (501) 661-9111 with Father John C. Wakube officiating. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Due to the Covid situation, face coverings must be worn and social distancing observed.
