Ellan May Hardin, 85, of Little Rock Arkansas passed away on September 30, 2016. She was a loving, compassionate, and understanding soul who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed cooking, always preparing far more than was required. She was actively involved with Park Place Baptist Church until her health would no longer permit her to attend. She retired from Pulaski County Special School District as a secretary after many years of faithful service. She was preceded in death by her husband William Andrew Hardin, her parents, aunts, uncles, and siblings. She is survived by her son Shelby Hardin of Little Rock, and grandchildren Jenny and Shanna Hardin. Her visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock. Her celebration of life will take place at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 with a graveside service at Arnold Cemetery in Swifton, Arkansas.
