Ethel Louise Edds

Ethel Louise Edds, 86, of Little Rock passed away January 4, 2016. She was born January 28, 1929 in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Ethel was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener and kept an immaculately clean house. Ethel enjoyed decorating her house for every holiday. She was a long time member of Bible Doctrine Church. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, R. M. and Eva Vickroy; her husband, Joe Edds; son, Joe Edds Jr.; great grandson, Alex Michael Edds; one brother, R. S. “Buddy” Hawkins; and one sister, Gertrude Fallon. Ethel is survived by daughter, Olivia Cary (Dwayne); grandchildren: Mark Edds (Shannon) and Jason Van Pelt (Heather); great grandchildren: Kaitlyn Kronberg, Jackson Edds, Parker Edds and Joshua Edds; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 7, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home.
