Faye worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone and later for the Veterans Administration Hospital System, where she remained until her retirement in 2001.
In 1963, Faye married Richard Massery, beginning a marriage that would span 63 years. Together, they raised three children and built a life filled with family, love, and plenty of pets. After retiring, Richard and Faye settled into their home on the lake, where they enjoyed more than 25 years together. Over the years, their home was shared with three dogs, two cats, countless ducks, and, most recently, an opossum.
Faye always saw the good in everyone. She had a generous heart, a deep love for her family, and an unforgettable laugh that could fill a room. Her warmth, humor, and kindness will be cherished by all who knew her.
Faye is survived by her devoted husband, Richard Massery; her three children, Carol Dolinsky (Jerry) of Cypress, Texas; Joe Massery (Nancy) of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Keith Massery (Pam) of Bossier City, Louisiana.
She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Michael Dolinsky (Mariana) of Cypress, Texas; Hannah Dolinsky of Chicago, Illinois; Tyler Massery (Gina) of Bentonville, Arkansas; Gillian Thompson (Ross) of Chicago, Illinois; Ashley Kaminski (Joe) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Andrew Massery (Kaitlyn Foster) of Ruston, Louisiana; Adam Massery (Kelsey) of Shreveport, Louisiana; Sarah Chidlow (Andrew) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Paige Gramling (Landon) of Bossier City, Louisiana; and Molly Gleason of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Her legacy continues through her nine great-grandchildren: Nicolás Dolinsky, Reid Massery, Millie Massery, Izzy Kaminski, Abigail Kaminski, Mac Massery, Meyer Massery, Anna Chidlow, and Lilly Gramling.
Faye will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her kindness toward others, and the joy she brought into everyday life. She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a family who will love and miss her always.
