Geraldine Bishop Jones

Geraldine Bishop “Jerry” Jones, aged 88 years landed on the wondrous shores of Heaven, the 6th day of June 2018. She was born December 12, 1929 in Lepanto, Arkansas to Lawson and Zelma Maxwell Bishop. An active member since 1947of the 2nd Baptist Church of Little Rock, she volunteered with International Friendship and relished her times in the presence of good friends and dominos.

Her parents, her two brothers, Leotis and Michael Bishop, and her husband, Robert Lanier Jones, preceded her in death. Mrs. Jones is survived by her son, Robert Lanier Jones II and Helen Perez, of Seguin, Texas, her two grand children, Halley Elizabeth Jones Lunderman of San Antonio and Michael Cody Jones from Galveston, Texas.

Funeral services commence on Saturday June 9th 2018 at 2nd Baptist Church, 8th and Scott, in Little Rock with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm with the service scheduled for 2:00 pm. Dr. Ray Higgins will officiate the service. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
