Glenda was special to me. I was married to Henry Lowery after his first and dearest wife Elinor passed away. Glenda was Elinor's sister and received me graciously into her family. She was a beautiful lady and kept in touch with me after both our husbands had died.
May her soul rest in peace in the arms of our Lord God.

My mom, Jonnell Mitchell, was good friends with Glenda. She always loved the times they spent together and the many fun memories they had together.

Glenda was a blessing to many and the memorial video showed her love and devotion to her family.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Glenda was one of the kindest and sweetest people I've ever known. Always looked forward to seeing her at the reunions, and will always cherish the time she and Dollar came to Pensacola and spent a couple nights with me. I loved her dearly and will miss her kind words and sweet smile when the Clays get together every year. RIP, Glenda.
