

He only had a 3rd grade education but that did not hinder him from learning hands on training becoming a diesel mechanic .
He loved working on the farm diving tractors and took most of his grandchildren on rides with him. He worked with Mr. Ed Lynn , Mr. James and Mr. Charles Waldrens on Waldrens farm in Woodson, Arkansas also Siemens Allis, Hugg and Hall, and limousine driver for UP Rail Road contractor. They always called him Big Larry and always spoiled him with a pedicure after a hard day.
He also helped with church activities working with Lulac with Ben Rodriguez, the Escovedo’s , The Franco’s and the Mendez family building floats . Played the role of Jesus on Easter Sunday with a real crown of thrones. Just enjoying fellowship with his church family and cookouts . Serving for St Edwards Church, St Anne’s and St Andrews
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years in 2015, Maria Diana Sanchez Trevino; his parents, Encarnation Perez Trevino and Petra Romero, of Forrest City Arkansas brother Leo Trevino, of Proctor Arkansas Sister Alicia Garcia, California Uncle Francisco Romero, Batesville Arkansas son Hilario Trevino Jr Forrest City Arkansas and granddaughter Tonya Marie Rhoads Woodson Arkansas
He is survived by his daughters, Gloria Boyd (Mike), Judsonia, Ar, Maria Crofford (Curtis), Woodson,Ar ,Elvria “Veta” Burgess (Ronny), Waco, Tx, Sons Rodolfo Trevino(Rhonda) , Sherwood, Ar ,Patrick Trevino (Marjenia),Ward, Ar. Bonus kids Pete & Linda Sanchez Benton,Ar, Johnny and Beth Sanchez Alexander, Ar. Roy & Tamera Sanchez, Romance Ar. Brothers : Earnest Trevino, Katy ,Tx, Johnny Trevino Forrest City, Ar, Raymond Tigerina, Olathe Ks, Tony Revas Forrest City, Ar and Arthur Trevino, Colt Ar, Sisters : Olivia Wade ,Wynn Ar, Estella Soto Proctor, Ar, Elsa Garza , Crawfordsville, Ar, Rosie Garza, Marion Ar, Linda Trevino ,Judsonia Ar. 16 grandchildren 18 great grandchildren 2 great great grandchildren many cousin nephews, ,nieces and best friends Robert Washington and Mr Bennifield
Larry was our family patriarch. He kept his family in twined together with BBQ cook outs, parties with lots of dancing. If there was a holiday everyone came to Larry and Diane’s; no one was ever turned away. If you left hungry it was your own fault. When he finally met his lost cousin Eddie Trevino they became Inseparable they kept in-touch everyday with surprise visits to Houston, Texas.
The family would like to thank Dr Timm Reece Family Medicine of Whitehall Ar. Estee Sneed, APN, Jamie Aud, APN. Nurse Bobbette Carter, Ms Pam Freeman, Larrisa Simpson, Gayla Earnest and his special angel Rose Campbell for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in their final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend Visitation Wednesday, August 31st ,2022 with the family beginning at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. and Visitation continuing afterward until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 1st 2022, at 10:00 am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 9th and Sherman St., Little Rock with Fr. Juan Manjarrez, Celebrant.
Interment to follow at Woodson Cemetery, Woodson, Arkansas
The family will also invite you to celebrate Hilario Trevino’s life with fellowship and food at the home of Justin Crofford’s home at 1408 Cherrywood Ave Redfield, Ar 72132 after interment.
