

Hong Thi Vu, of Little Rock, was 95 years old when she passed away on October 16th, 2016. She was born in 1921 in Thi Cau, Bac Ninh, North Viet Nam. In 1954 Ms. Hong and her family resettled in Saigon, South Viet Nam. In 1986 Ms. Hong immigrated to the US and made her home in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. Although she couldn't speak English, she loved people and always liked to make friends with people. Most of people who knew her loved her & had a lot of respect for her. She is survived by daughter Phung Cole; son Tuan Van Vu; grandsons Fabien & Cyril Diakhate, Michael Cole & David Vu; granddaughter Christina Vu; great-grandsons Arden, Quentin & Kelton. She is also survived by many nephews & nieces in the USA, France, Germany & Viet Nam. Rosary & Viewing times will be on Friday 21st, 2016 from 7:00 PM at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday October 22, 2016 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Little Rock. Father Jack Vu will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock, AR.
