I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Ian felt like a part of our family for the last 20 years. It seemed as if he wore all his emotions near the surface. His heart was so tender and kind, I don’t think he ever came across an animal that didn’t adore him from the start. I know my mean little dog loved it when Ian came over. He leaves behind a void, his laugh and love will be sorely missed.

Ian was a familiar visitor to my house for years. He was a friend of my grandson, Michael, since grade school. He was always smiling and pleasant. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. He will be missed so much I hope the family will be comforted by the love that is felt by all who knew him.. Rest In Peace, sweet Ian.

I only knew Ian from a distance, he knew my children and when we heard of his passing there was true sadness. He was a vibrant , energetic man with a penchant for living life. I'm so sorry for the loss of Ian and hope that in time memories with him will be comforting.

Ian challenged me to make myself better all the time.

He cared deeply about his friends and family. I also don't think I've met a more caring father, even if he couldn't always show it. He was so proud of you, Stew. He carried a lot.

Ian was always someone I could talk to and butt heads with. Any injustice or insecurity I had, he was always there to set me right.

One thing that I think we could all learn from his life is that he was very open about his flaws. He always wanted to be a better person. He taught me that it's okay to seek help. We are human and we need others to talk to.

Food was a fierce passion of his. He absolutely loved feeding people. He made the world a better place. He went from a pretzel stand to one of the best restaurants in Arkansas. He was one of them most talented people I've ever met.

I can't fathom him being gone. I have to honor his time here. But I can't thank the world enough for bringing him in my path throughout this life. He was a guiding light in so much darkness.

My love goes out to friends and family.

I met ian about 10 years ago. One of his best friends introduced me to him. His best friend was my friend. Ian accepted me immediately. Everytime I saw him , he gave me a big hug. His heart embraced me and I felt privaleged, honored and gratful to have met him. I've always believed that If one surrounds himself with good hearts , he would be ok. I am lucky to have met ian on his journey. Hopefully, I will see him again in the clouds. Safe journey to you ian. You will be missed and loved my friend..... forever.
