Irene Thuston

Irene Adell Thuston, 93, of Little Rock, passed away October 22, 2018. Born November 9, 1924 in Little Rock, she was the daughter of Hugh Elmer and Clydia Geurin Pritchard. Irene loved the Lord and crocheting. She had been a member of Martindale Baptist Church since August 7, 1949 and cafeteria manager for the Pulaski County School District for 43 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bud Thuston, her son, Buddy Thuston; and her brother, Gene Pritchard. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Thuston-Jernigan of Little Rock; son, Charles Thuston (Debbie) of Little Rock; brother, Charles Rudolph Pritchard (Donna) of Banning, California; grandchildren, Lee Jernigan and Deena and Michelle Thuston; great-grandchildren, Kirstyn Jernigan, Michael Thuston, Preston Thuston and Morgan Bryant and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will 12:00 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Martindale Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Harris officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Martindale Baptist Church, 18900 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
