Jacob Neil Cary

Jacob worked in property management/maintenance most of his career and could fix most anything that was broken. All that knew Jacob, knew he was happiest with a backpack of Ryobi tools in hand and a project list. He was known to most as a “jack of all trades” but would tell you he was a “master of none” followed by his infectious laugh. He had been known to make outdoor movie screens from sheets or whatever he could find to make sure everyone had a great time.

Jacob regularly visited Home Depot and Dollar Tree (his very favorite stores) to find new gadgets he might need and sweet treats. Of his jobs, he enjoyed his years at Transamerica working in property maintenance the most where he made good friends and met the love of his life, Alicia.

Jacob loved being a dad more than anything and making memories with the kids whether it be camping, boating, vacation trips or watching movies. As the kids got older their quick wit and sense of humor always put a smile on his face. He enjoyed fishing, eating with friends and family, ice cream, music at high volumes and life at the farm relaxing. Jacob truly enjoyed every minute of life and spread that joy to everyone around him. He loved dogs and always had his beloved “CoCo” with him.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Alicia Crocker Cary, children, Madeline Cary and Jasper Cary. His dad-Jeffrey Cary (Susan), mother-Paula Alonso, sister-Melissa Beth Cary, brother-Michael Alonso (McKenzie). He was blessed with wonderful in-laws Tommy Crocker, Tina and Bub Nolen, Scott and Samantha Crocker, aunts-Jan Griffith, Olivia Cary, uncles-Jeff (Connie) Beringer and Bill Beringer and nephews-Isaiha Crocker, Eli Crocker and Archer Alonso. He was also blessed with several cousins and a host of special friends including the Robinson Family whom he shared many memories with.

A special thanks to the UAMS Transplant Team for their care of Jacob as well as the UAMS MICU teams who fought hard for him with the family.
