James “Jim” Marvin Mitchell III, 66, of Little Rock passed away December 17, 2024. He was born October 1, 1958 in Little Rock to Jo Kathryn (Clark) Mitchell and the late James Marvin Mitchell, Jr. In addition to his father, Jim was predeceased by his nephew, Nicholas Terry and brother-in-law, Robert Westerfield. Those left to cherish the memories of Jim include his mother, Jo Kathryn Mitchell; siblings, Karen (Bill) Schell, Leslie (Stan) Schrader; and Vicki Westerfield; and niece, Kate Westerfield.
Jim graduated from Hall High School in 1977. He studied business and accounting at UALR before working in the insurance industry. His interests included military history and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
