He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother Carolyn Meins, father Ken Frizzell, brother Tom Frizzell (Connie), his grandmother Betty Clevidence and extended family.
As written by Jason's cousin, Allison, "Jason was an artist. And, like most artists, Jason felt everything all the time. He felt the beauty of the world, he felt the poetry of the lyrics to his favorite songs, he felt the landscapes he saw around the country, and he was able to capture all of this with eyes that only artists have to see.
Jason was a wanderer, he followed the things that made him happy - whether that was his favorite bands, or the most incredible sunrises and sunsets. Jason truly lived. Jason loved deeply, and Jason felt it all, everything, deeply within his soul. "
A private service will be held. Memorials may be made to the National Park Foundation www.nationalparks.org
