Dear Alice & Family,
My thoughts are with all of you! Was thinking about you last night and googled Jerry’s name and found out he had died! No one told me and I am devastated! Love all of you and will get in touch! Jerry was a favorite of mine and Roger! I do understand how tough this has been! Roger has been gone now 7-1/2 yrs. and sure have missed him! Love to all of you!♥️

To Alice and family,

On behalve of the Fryer family,, current and passed, I wish the best to you all. Jerry was a close member of the “furniture family” in Arkansas. My father, Jack Fryer, thought of him as a relative, and the reserve was true, I think. I’ve been associated with him since the late 60’s. We met as old timers for breakfast some, with Fred, Bill and several others.

I am sad to hear of the passing of a great furniture guy and such a good friend to all.

Sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. One of the all time greats in the pages of the furniture business in Arkansas. He was truly one of the last genuine gentleman we knew. The history of our business could not be written without a chapter dedicated to the impact he had on us professionally and personally. We will miss him.

Alice, so sorry for the news of the passing of Jerry. As you know we go back to the early 70's in the days of Ayers Furn. Jerry was one of my mentors in the furniture business and always treated me with kindness and respect. Jerry was one of the best at what he did and was liked by everyone. We had so many meals together in Dallas at the Rail Car and the Old San Francisco Steak House with Karl Kittrell. Jerry always watched out for me and was certainly one of my favorites. May he rest in peace. Jerry Holt, one of the Great one's.

Some of my very favorite childhood memories involve Uncle Jerry. He was quite the musician and I loved when he played his bongo drums or the piano when we visited he and Aunt Alice. Watching him, Uncle Glen , Uncle Bob and my Dad laughing at each other was always the highlight of family events. I will be forever grateful for the time I had with both he and Aunt Alice growing up. It was full of laughter and love. Most of all, love. Love you always,

Rob

Alice, Richard and I are sending love and prayers for you and yours from Crossett ! I will remember Jerry fondly as he was a part of my North Little Rick family all of my 61 years . Those Holts are special people and I know that his legacy will live on throughout the next generations! Deepest condolences, Sheila Linder Welch

Uncle Jerry is so important to me in my life. He was and still is in my memories as such a funny, fun loving character of a man. He always wanted to have a good time and act up. He would do little tings constantly to make everyone laugh. My Dad, his brother Bill would just come literally unglued being around him. When you got all of The Holt Boys, Uncle Jerry, Uncle Bob, Uncle Glen and Dad together you set back and watch the show, because it was going to ALWAYS be good.
And to all of those incredible Aunts and my Mom that could handle those Boys! It was a ride for them all and they were all the perfect match for each boy.
Uncle Jerry was not just fun and funny he was also like a second father to me, in many ways, by talking to about things, offering me advise and showing me that life can be hard but you can sure make it FUN!
Love you Uncle Jerry and Aunt Alice.
