John Burl Webb III

John Burl Webb III, age 71, of Roland, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. John was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to his loving and supportive parents, John Burl Webb Jr and Barbara Webb. John was often known for saying “he could take anything apart and put most things back together”. John was a joyous son, devoted husband, wonderful father, a loving grandfather and a reliable friend. John will be deeply missed.

John was a graduate of the class of 1970 of Hall High School. He went on to attend University of Arkansas of Little Rock and Draughon School of Business. John Served in the National Guard as a proud service member. John found his calling in the Telecommunications Field at Entergy, achieving numerous certificates, awards and commendations for his field. John had a passion for restoring classic cars, and many of his friends relied on him to help with small engine repairs and vehicle maintenance.

John is preceded in death by his father John Burl Webb Jr.

John is survived by his mother, Barbara Davidson Webb; wife, Linda Bajorek Webb; son, Scott (Emryl) Webb; daughter, Liz (Jason) Meeks; and affectionately known as "Pop" to his grandchildren, Noah and Ariel Meeks.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor John at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home in Little Rock, Arkansas, Tuesday, December 12, 2023. A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Services will be officiated by Pastor Roy Smith of Trinity United Methodist Church. A private interment will be held at a later date
