Larry, a huge lover of flowers! He visited us often at Frances Flower Shop. Always with a beautiful smile on his face and lots of things to talk about! He took the time to come and visit us often, hang out for hours at times and sweep up all our flower stem debris just to help us out because he was so sweet. He loved the floral business and seeing all the beautiful things we designed. Always finding a flower treasure he would take home and cherish, yet he only bought flowers for others, not himself. Such a kind and beautiful man, we miss him so much! I know his heaven is a fabulous garden of gorgeous flowers everywhere!

We consider ourselves friends who valued the kindness and consideration Mr. Jefferson exemplified. John knew him as a hard worker and thoughtful in all aspects while employed at the Little Rock School District. They met there and knew each other for years. He was always asking” how is your beautiful wife” and your children? He was very complimentary of her style. A wonderful gentleman. Rest in Love. The Paynes.

Mr. Larry stood by my Grandmother, Mrs. Essie Williams, while she was in a rest home in Little Rock. In the past they both worked as school custodians and she cared and took him under her wing.

He would religiously visit her a few times a week with beautiful flower arrangements.

My family lived out of state and we came to depend on him because he was so caring and loving towards her. If anything was out of order at her care home or if she was ill he was sure to tell us or deal with the situation himself. He wanted nothing in return.

I’m inspired and all of us who knew him should embrace what Larry stood for. Larry exemplified pure unselfishness.

We would be so lucky to have one friend who was as caring like Mr. Larry Jefferson. My family are grateful to have known him. He was family to us.

Rest In Peace.
