

Lester Earl Burrow, Jr., 79, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2014. He was the second child of Nell Frankie Wier and Lester Earl Burrow, Sr. on January 30, 1935. He is predeceased a brother, Frank M. Burrow. Survived by his wife of 58 years; Marlyn Burrow; sister, Dorothy Powell; daughters; Cindy McCarty of Forth Smith, Dianne Booth of Hot Springs, and son Lester Burrow, III of Lonoke. Grandchildren: Chris McCarty, Niki Thomas, Sami Selby, and Lester Burrow IV, Preston Booth and Claire Booth. Lester Burrow, Jr. served in the Arkansas Air National Guard and was retired from the Printing Business. He was partners in printing companies in San Antonio, TX., Dallas, TX. and Little Rock. He enjoyed hunting with his friends. Also, baiting hooks for his grandchildren, while camping and fishing with his family. After retiring he enjoyed time with his four legged companions Archie, Oscar and Jax. He was a 32 degree mason at Westwood Lodge #33. Lester was a member of the Oriental Marching Band with the Scimitar Shrine, a member of the Scottish Rite and Jesters #12. Lester was honored to twice be Rainbow Dad for each of his daughters. He was a member of Faith Methodist Church in Little Rock. Visitation will be Friday, November 7, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. The family will also receive friends Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with services following at 10:00 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 9820 West Markham. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
