Lewis was retired from National Medical Rentals. He was a member of Springlake Church of the Nazarene in Hensley, Arkansas. He was also an avid member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.
He loved gardening, plants of all kinds, trees, but especially his 11 gardenia bushes that he brought back from the freeze of 2021. He also loved wood carving and made use of his collection of pocket knives when making dogwood crosses with leather neck straps he made from a limb from his dogwood tree.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mickie Baker; his children Sharon Henry Longinotti of Bryant; Rita Ann Lawrence and husband David of Heber Springs; Justin Lewis Baker and wife Dianna of Lawton, Oklahoma; Sammy Dean Baker and wife Susan of Lawrenceville, Georgia; Dallas Paul Henry and wife Jennifer of Mabelvale, Arkansas; his brother, Arlis Clark Baker and wife Flodine of Conway; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Funeral for Lewis will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth with The Rev. Phil Stein officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm. Lewis will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Alexander, Arkansas.
