Mabel F. Wynne

Mabel Frances Paxton Wynne, 96, of Little Rock, was born June 1, 1920 in Prattsville, Arkansas.She was called home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2016 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Wynne was a long-time member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church for 54 years and was a retiree of UAMS.She had a faithful love for her family and church, but her greatest love was for the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theo and Irene Paxton; her husband, Jodie Wynne; one brother, Reyburn Paxton; and one sister, Irma Parnell. Mrs. Wynne is survived by her daughter, Brenda Lucy (Mike) of Benton, Arkansas and her son, Gary Wynne (Marlis) of Benton, Arkansas.Other survivors include four grandchildren, Christopher Lucy (Wendy) of Magnolia, Arkansas, Melanie Lucy of Alma, Arkansas, Holly Price (Steven) of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Lisa Pace of Benton, Arkansas; seven great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; one sister, Theda Ashcraft of Amory, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111) with Rev. Mark Harris and Rev. Christopher Lucy officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery at Prattsville, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
