Margie Rogers Hicks passed away at 94 years of age on Monday February 21, 2022 at a local Little Rock Hospital. She was born April 20, 1927 in Winfrey, Arkansas to the late William Fred Cartwright and Ethel Hayes Cartwright. After completing her schooling, Margie moved to Little Rock where she and her husband, William Rogers, raised their family.
Margie was a retired manager and buyer for a children’s specialty shop in Little Rock. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Crowa and two sisters, Jane Bristow-Harold, of Little Rock and Betty Lancaster (James) of Sheridan; three grandchildren, Laura Carlson, David Gill (Denise) and Jeff Gill (Tina); five great-grandchildren James Gill, Ashley and Lindsey Belle Carlson and Emily and Kaitlyn Gill as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands William Rogers and Paul Hicks, four brothers and two sisters, her grandson William McMinn an her daughter Phyllis Rogers.
