Kurt, Valerie, Tim and Jan, and family; my deepest sympathies to you all over the loss of your mother, grandmother and loved one. I pray the Lord brings you comfort and peace as you grieve, but also may He bring to mind all the wonderful memories you shared together with Marie. My memories of Marie are so many from high school and our younger years. She was always so upbeat and wanting to join in the fun! Thinking of you all at this time and sending our love, Kimberly and Craig Smith

Tim, Jan, Valerie and Kurt,
I have many fond memories of the Vinsant family. My heart aches for you as you mourn your mother's death. She was as strong woman who was very active in Little Rock. I am holding your entire family in the Light (Quaker version of prayer). Lots of memories flooding back this morning after learning from my brother about the memorial service today. I wish I could be there with you.

Blessed to have known Marie. She was one of a kind. She was brave and independent and upbeat always. I was an in-law and she always treated me with kindness and affection...showing interest in me and my family. I loved her candor and humor. We’ll miss her.

Marie was a wonderful asset to the school district. I remember her not only as a fine professional but also for her PTA leadership and her work with VIPS. Kurt, you ard your siblings and family members are in my thoughts at this difficult time.

My only aunt, and just the mention of her name brings a smile to my face, followed by laughter. She was our “crazy” Aunt Marie in such a positive way.
She was a strong woman, very independent , more energy than an active child, and funny beyond words. She will be to my cousins
As they say their good-byes.

My Condolences to Marie's family. I enjoyed knowing her when I worked for the Little Rock School District. She was always smiling and friendly. I saw her years later at St. James United Methodist and she was still the same sweet person and remembered me.
