Marion L. Henson

Marion L. (Mulkey) Henson , of Bryant, Arkansas, died Thursday March 12, 2015, at DeSoto, Missouri following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Henson retired from Kroger Grocery Company after more than 32 years as a cashier in various stores throughout Little Rock, Arkansas, where she was always such a favorite that customers would willingly wait in line to have her check them out. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bryant, Arkansas. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Ross E. Henson of Bryant; and one son, David Henson of Little Rock. Mrs. Henson is survived by a son, Stephen M. Henson, Sr. of De Soto, Missouri, and his wife, Kay; by David’s widow, Diana; a brother Rev. Louis Mulkey and his wife, Barbara; grandchildren: Cory Henson of St. Louis, MO., S. Michael Henson, II of Pevely, MO., Jeff Henson and Ken Henson, both of Little Rock, AR., 3 great- grandsons; and a great-great- grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills Funeral Home in Alexander,Arkansas, and she will be interred at Forest Hills Memorial Park next to Ross, her husband of many years. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home.
