Marjorie “Marge” Owens, age 91, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016. She was born January 17, 1925, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, to Kenneth and Tina Matthews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Rita Comstock. Marge was a secretary in the surgery ward at the Veterans Administration Hospital for several years. She later became the owner of a laundromat. She was of the Episcopalian faith. Marge enjoyed traveling with her husband. Together they loved visiting the different lakes in Arkansas as well as traveling across the country and visiting the National Wonders. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, John W. Owens; a sister, Darlene Oshel of California; and by several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Monday, March 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
