Amber, Kattie and Dusty, how I remember your aunt Lou being so, so proud of all of you. You all being there at Booker with her brought her much joy. Your talents in dancing, acting and music provided her many days of enjoyment.

I had the pleasure of working with your aunt Lou for parts of four decades, from 1984 until 2011. We shared many memories as well as had a couple of similarities. We both felt blessed working at Booker Arts Magnet and loved Jesus, Our Lord above all else.

My prayers are with all of you and aunt Lou

Amber and Josh, I'm so very sorry to hear about Lou. I know how much you loved her and she loved you right back. The care you gave her, when she was in her declining years, is a testament of that love. Much love, hugs and comfort to you both.

I met Lou the first day of 7th grade at West Side.
Our school journey continued until our Ouachita graduation. I was blessed to call her friend. Our paths didn’t cross very often after Ouachita but we had a special conversation at our 50th Central class reunion. Lou made a positive imprint on hundreds of children and adults...her calm sweet spirit , smile, and that little eye twinkle will be missed but a treasured memory.

I had the pleasure of having Ms. Lou as my neighbor for the last 2 + years. Lou was always a delight to be around and we shared many stories of our love of the Lord. Her faith and love of her church was a big part of who she she was.
I know that Lou ran her race and competed her purpose in this world. Lou left a positive impression on all of those that knew her.
I will miss her.
