Grandma, I miss you so much. I wish so badly I got to spend more time with you before you left us. I am thankful for all the wonderful memories I have that have been replaying in my head over and over. I miss the way you called me “Sugar” I miss the way you smelled when you hugged me and how soft your hair always was. My favorite times growing up were the trips your house. Seeing you and grandpa come out to meet us when we pulled up was the best part. I have a confession. I didn’t like your iced tea. I drank it though because I didn’t want you to feel bad. I never ever wanted to make you unhappy. I have a rabbit doll that you made me still. I loved those dolls. I have so many of the cards you sent to me for my birthday. I loved your letters. Your handwriting was always so pretty to me. I loved listening to your stories about our family and going through old pictures with you. I love you so much and I regret so badly not being there more. I’m forever grateful to everyone who took such great care of you. I will keep you in my heart and make sure to keep your memory alive. Rest In Peace.
