Mary G. Highfill ,99, of Sherwood, passed away peacefully in the home of her son on December 1, 2015. She was born on September 21, 1916 in Delark, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Highfill and daughter Janet E Smith. She is survived by her son James Highfill and wife, Linda ,of Sherwood; grandsons Chad Highfill and wife, Kelly , of Portsmouth, RI and Todd Highfill and wife, Ashley, of Sherwood along with 11 great- grandchildren. She was a member of Markham Street Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 7th in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th St., Little Rock (501) 661-9111 with Rev. Ken Jerome officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
