She was born August 25, 1948. Her parents were Thomas Lester Marcrum and Thelma Jean Rowland Marcrum, who have predeceased her.
The most important event in her life was her marriage to David Paul Rawls on December 23, 1967. They recently celebrated their 48th Anniversary. Other significant events included graduations from law school and passing the Arkansas Bar. In October of 2013 she retired after 30 years at the U.S. District Court.
Mary Ann was a friend of Bill W. for more than 21 years. She is survived by her husband, David Paul Rawls; and sister-in-law, Glenda Matthews of Charleston, South Carolina.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a Gathering of Remembrance will be Wednesday, February 10, at 5:00 p.m., both at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock.
