Michael John Callahan, 67, of Little Rock, passed away November 5, 2017. He was born to Ted & Evelyn Callahan on May 16, 1950 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Michael loved cooking and going to the firing range. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. He loved researching ancestry and genealogy. He had a lifelong interest in military history. He was very proud to have served in the Headquarters Company 212th Signal Battalion, Arkansas Army National Guard. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Karen Cox Callahan; his son, Jeff (Pam) Callahan; his brother, Dr. Doug (Cathy) Callahan; and his nine loving cats. Graveside service will be held at Carlisle Cemetery on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Feline Rescue & Rehome at www.teamfurr.org.
