I am so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. My favorite memory of Mike is of he & Shawn dancing at the Asbury UMC talent show. They were so good and you could tell they loved to dance. Mike was outgoing and so friendly. He never met a stranger. Vincent & Bradley, he was so proud of the men you became. You are his legacy to the world. Sending love and prayers.

I was so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I knew Mike for several years, since he came to UA Little Rock, but got to know him very well over the last six years as he often helped out in labs for Analytical Chemistry. Certain lab procedures he was very, very good at, having perfected his skills during his work at in commercial analytical laboratories. He was always friendly and helpful to the students, quick with a story or example to share if they were having trouble with a procedure, lab, or life. We miss him. Sympathies to the family and his other friends.

I met Mike on June 20, 1977 as 20 somethings starting a new job with the brand new Skippy Peanut Butter manufacturing plant in Little Rock. Working together with others in the same age group, we all became friends & hung out after work. It didn't take long to realize Mike was super smart & loved science. I don't think any of us were surprised when Mike decided to move on & further his education in the science field. No surprise that he was very successful in the science area. Through the years past I would run into Mike at country concerts (which now seems like a very long time ago)& we would talk about starting up the Skippy plant & the people we met & friendships formed even if we only saw each other on rare occasions. My condolences to his family.
