Pamela (Pam) Ann Morton Penor passed from this Earth on January 15, 2025. Pam was born on February 2, 1952 in Siloam Springs, AR to John Travis Morton and Lenore Frances “Fran” Morton of Decatur, AR. Pam graduated from Decatur High School and continued her education at the University of Arkansas. She moved to Little Rock in 1986 where she found the light of her life, Joe Penor.
“God knows the plans he has for us.” (Jeremiah 29:11) That was certainly evident the day He brought Pam and Joe together. We all watched as their happiness increased day after day. They married on September 5, 1987 and through 37 years of happiness, they enjoyed many things and remarkable successes. They also endured faithfully and lovingly through many challenges which only strengthened their bond. God knows the plans He has for them, and it's not ours to question. Their beautiful and abiding love story is not over. It is just in intermission. While we are so extremely saddened for Joe and the family, let's remember and cherish the places in our hearts where she will remain until we see her again.
Pam is survived by her loving husband Joe as well as her three stepchildren, Joe Bob, Missy and Ricky as well as 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
