Patricia Mae Wells

Patricia Mae “Pat” Wells, 81, passed away on October 7, 2025. She was born in Detoni, Arkansas, to the late Charles Collins and Dorothy Mae (Carpenter) Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Mitch Wells; brother, Jimmy Carr; and sister, Betty Schrader.

Pat was a woman of strong faith and a lifelong, dedicated member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Mabelvale, Arkansas. She loved gardening, quilting, antiquing, and making cherished memories visiting the Grand Ole Opry. Pat found joy in gospel music, family gatherings, and serving others with warmth and grace.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Hosie Lee Wells; her sons, Charles (Kim) and Chris (Jodi) Wells; daughter-in-law, Toni Wells; grandchildren, Jacob (Kari), Lance (Breanna), Katie, and Kerrigan Wells; great-grandchildren, Felicity and Colan Wells; and her siblings, Carlon (John) Hollis, Connie (Ronnie) Carbonaro, and Charles (Becky) Carr.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 20, 2025, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m., with Pastor Roy Polk officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Corinth Cemetery.
