Peggy Jo Kramer

January 14, 1939November 26, 2019

Peggy Jo Kramer, 80, left us on November 26, 2019. Born in Moorefield, Arkansas, to Paul Bernard Goodwin, Sr. and Rosa Lee Roberson Goodwin on January 14, 1939, Peggy raised a grateful family with her husband of 62 years, William Clyde Kramer of Rosie, Arkansas.

Peggy held a career for nearly five decades. With her comptometer skills she gained after high school, Peggy easily found jobs early in her marriage at Jonesboro, ar. and Peoria, Illinois. William always gave her credit for making it possible for him to graduate college.

Peggy was a strong woman, protective of her family and those she loved. She freely opened her home and heart to others, showering them with the things she knew brought them happiness and joy. Yet nothing filled her soul more than her four grandchildren. They will miss their Nana deeply, as will we all.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Paul Goodwin, Jr. and Charles Goodwin, and her sister Edna Lee Morgan. She is survived by her husband, daughter Melissa Kramer Anderson (Brad), son Luke Kramer (Ellen Korenblat), grandchildren Lauren Anderson, Kramer Anderson (fiancée Quartney Dash), Henry Kramer and Tess Kramer.

Peggy loved flowers. You may make a donation to Arkansas Hospice in her memory or send flowers to a patient. To sign the online guestbook, click “Add A Memory” at: www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com

My first memory of Peggy,1983, was as we were blundering around with our moving into the house next door. Peggy walked over to introduce herself and make sure we had water!
She and Bill were great neighbors for many years, through their son babysitting our son, helping with the neighborhood breakfasts and checking on us when they suspected something was wrong. The last phone call with her was more about Bill than herself. Our sympathy to all the family. Harris and Emily

Peggy worked at LSC Marketing and handled our largest account, Alltel. She was always calm, even with the crazy pace of our business, and very professional. She also had a great dry sense of humor. Condolences to her family on their loss...she will be greatly missed.
